Dutch company Orga has over 40 years’ experience providing customised explosion proof safety lighting and aids to navigation solutions for the offshore oil and gas industries. Widely used around the world, Orga products meet all local and international code requirements giving robust, reliable and cost effective service in some of the harshest offshore environments.

With increasing demands from the oil and gas industries for pioneering technology, improved safety and reduced total cost of ownership, Orga’s continuing drive for innovation has developed the very latest in cutting-edge helideck lighting, marine navigational aids and remote power systems.

Circle-H LED Helideck Lighting: Developed in collaboration with the UK Civil Aviation Authority (UK CAA), Orga’s industry-first, CAP 437-compliant, Circle-H LED helideck touchdown, positioning and marking system radically improves visibility for approaching pilots in all weather conditions. The UK CAA has made Circle-H mandatory on all UK offshore platforms giving the industry until 2018 to retrofit the new lighting to all offshore helidecks. Orga Circle-H helideck lighting is ATEX/IECEx certified for use in Zone 1 and 2 hazardous areas.

Aids to Navigation: The Orga LED platform marking and warning system employs both smart digital touchscreen technology and LED lighting technology and is ATEX/IECEx certified for use in Zone 1 and 2 hazardous areas.

At its core is an explosion proof user-friendly navaids digital central control panel with full alarm, history and remote status monitoring capabilities. The touchscreen user interface enables full system interaction to control and monitor all Orga navigational aids and equipment. By adding modules, its smart modular design enables full integration with the Orga Circle-H LED helideck lighting system as well as the Orga LED obstruction light system.

Remote Power Systems: Orga photovoltaic and battery backup systems can be found on offshore platforms and remote sites all around the world when a highly reliable off-grid power supply is required. Orga’s remote power systems are typically used to power and protect safety critical, production monitoring and communications equipment.

Orga works closely with regulatory bodies, designing and making prototypes for evaluation testing and trials in the development of new standards and specifications. Orga’s sustained success is attributable to a constant focus on innovation, a powerful set of capabilities, a profound understanding of the offshore environment, meeting customer needs and a broad pioneering product portfolio of exceptional quality.
